Getting started with Pronghorn Fitness

Welcome to the getting started guide for the Pronghorn Fitness Desktop Application.

In this guide you will learn about:

  • Windows 10 or higher

  • macOS Ventura 13.7 or higher (64-bit Intel and ARM)

Visit the Pronghorn Fitness downloads page to get the latest version of the app.

Choose the appropriate installer for your operating system. Currently, the app is only available for Windows and macOS.

Once downloaded, double-click the installer to begin the installation process.

Start the app in the usual way for your operating system.

Once started, you will be presented with the login screen. Choose register to create a new account and login.

If you already know your FTP from a recent test, you can just add it in the app Settings > Testings > Add test result.

Otherwise, you will need to perform an FTP test. These are located in the Library. If you’ve never performed an FTP test before, I’d recommend going with the FTP Ramp test as this is the easiest to perform. That is to perform correctly, it’s going to be an all-out effort!

Getting your FTP set up is the minimum you need to do to start using the app. Now is probably a good time to check out the rest of the settings which allow you to set things like display units, timezone, and more.
