Scheduling a workout

There are two types of workouts available to schedule, Static and Generated.

These are pre-defined, static workouts that you can access from the Library menu or by clicking the + button in the calendar.

These are generated based on some pre-defined parameters and allow you to customise the workout to your own needs.

Based on your selecting zones, the default available zones are: Recovery, Endurance, Tempo, Threshold, VO2 Max, Anaerobic, and Neuromuscular.

This defines what types of intervals are generated:

These are steady-state intervals at a fixed power.

These ramp up in power over the duration of the interval.

These start out hard and reduce in power over the duration of the interval.

These start out easier, increase to a peak, then decrease back over the duration of the interval.

These start out hard, decrease to a peak, then increase back over the duration of the interval.

These alternate between higher and lower power over the duration of the interval.

This is the total duration of the workout inclusive of the warm-up and cooldown phases. The amount of time spent on intervals is (Total Duration - Warm-up - Cooldown).

The total duration of the warm-up phase.

The total duration of the cooldown phase. This is the minimum duration of the cooldown phase and may be extended to ensure the correct intensity of the workout is maintained.

The intensity of the workout. This is a value between 0 and 100.

This is used to calculate the length and intensity of the intervals.
